Plants essential elements

Plants require 16 essential elements
to grow properly. The elements
include carbon (C), hydrogen (H),
and oxygen (O2), which are derived
from air and water. The remaining
nutrients used by plants are derived
from the soil in the form of
inorganic salts. Macronutrientso
btained from the soil include
nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P),
potassium (K), calcium (Ca),
magnesium (Mg), and sulfur (S). The
remaining essential elements needed
by plants are known as
micronutrients, which are required
in trace amounts; although these are
in small quantity, they are as
important as macronutrients. They
include boron (B), chlorine (Cl),
copper (Cu), iron (Fe), manganese
(Mn), molybdenum (Mo), and zinc
(Zn
