Agriculture is the mainstay of Kenya's economy

Agriculture is the mainstay of
Kenya's economy, contributing over
one third of the Gross Domestic
Product (GDP). About 75% of
Kenyans owe their livelihood to
agriculture. Other than agro-
production, the sector boasts a
comparatively wide range of
manufacturing industries, with food
processing being the largest single
activity. About 66% of the
manufacturing sector is agro based,
owing to the country’s agricultural
economy foundation. However,
agricultural production needs to be
improved to meet the demands of
the growing population.
lets farm and do agribusiness
